Beyond Appreciation...from liking faith to living it

We know a good thing when we see it. We can recognize intricacies of art and the passion conveyed through music. We are amazed by powerful displays of athleticism or the graceful strength of dancers. We appreciate the beauty of the world around us, but can we move from the sidelines and participate in it?

Moving beyond appreciation, takes training and practice. We don't pick up a brush and instantly paint a masterpiece. An instrument can feel clumsy in our hand; the ability to play doesn't come overnight. So it is with the life of faith, practice helps move us from liking faith to living it.

Come on Saturday, January 28 where we'll be stretching and exercising our faith muscles. David Lose, the Marbury E. Anderson Chair in Biblical Preaching at Luther Seminary, will work with us to begin cultivating helpful practices for living faith.

Childcare available for children ages 6 months through 8 years. Must RSVP by January 25th.
