It has been warm, yes, but little sun: it has been POURING the last several days. Streets are flooded, traffic a bigger adventure than usual. The auto-rickshaws dodge other vehicles to avoid cascades of water over them, and not incidentally, their passengers- like my friends and me!

Yesterday morning, I was taken to the Trinity Cathedral, home of the Church of South India (CSI) Diocese of Tirunelvelli. This seminar organized by TAFTEE and hosted by Bishop Christoboss which meant that large numbers of pastors were present- nearly 100, and initially all in white albs (with the exception of the Bishop- his alb was pink...)

I traveled from Amritsar to Chennai yesterday. After arriving, there was a long drive through incredible traffic, the likes of which I had seen previously in Mumbai or Delhi. A drive which took over an hour in rush hour took less than twenty minutes this morning!
