Quilters Group

This group makes simple quilts to support local needs or send to refugee organizations. Last season the group made more than 200 quilts, which were given to Lutheran World Relief, Lutheran Social Service, Wellness Connection, Crisis Nursery and Marie Sandvik Center. Several also were donated to Green Lake Bible Camp for their annual quilt auction.

The quilting season at Bethelehem started in September and will continue through May. The group gathers in the Harrisville room on the second floor from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Mondays-Wednesdays of the fourth week of the month.

Group members bring their own bag lunches and set their own schedules. If you don't know how to quilt, they'll be happy to teach you the famous "Nora Jacobson knot."
