Shared Ministry

There are many opportunities for you to serve, to grow in discipleship and to share your faith. You are invited to share your gifts in ministry at Bethlehem. If you are interested in participating in any of the ministry opportunities listed, please contact Pam Paulson at ppaulson@bethlehem-church.org or call 612-312-3415.

What is Shared Ministry?

Shared Ministry affirms that all persons in a faith community - lay members of all ages, staff and clergy - are called through baptism to serve together in ministry.

As people of God and responsible stewards, we strive to identify, develop, utilize, and support the unique gifts of each person.  We participate in God's ongoing creative and redemptive activity in the congregation, local community, and the world.

Our creator has blessed each of us with a richness of individual gifts: talents, interests, experiences, and skills.  As Christians, we are invited and urged to come to an awareness and understanding of our God given gifts.  And we are challenged to answer God's call to use these gifts as an expression of our faith and ministry in our lives.

Bethlehem is greatly blessed with members who are engaged in sharing their ministry in many arenas.  The vitality and spirit of the Bethlehem congregation are manifested in the personal contributions of many people who serve in all areas of ministry to fulfill the mission of the church.  We focus on identifying and affirming people's ministry at work, at school, at home and in the community - all the while continuing to encourage members to serve as partners in ministry and support the mission of this congregation.

Whatever your interests, there are opportunities for your participation.
