- What did God do after finishing the work of creating the world and everything in it?
- God set a pattern for our lives: six days of work then a day to spend time with him.
- How can you spend time with God?

Set aside some time for creative praise. Have everyone's input on how your family wants to spend time with God. You may want to make a special dinner or set aside quiet time to mark the day as special. You may just find out you've started a new tradition that's special to your family. Read "God Made Man" from an early reading Bible or read and summarize the event from Genesis 1:26-27, 2:7, 21-22.

Through Jesus all things were made, including me.Family Time Options:
Look through some old family photo albums and recall some favorite memories. Point out special attributes of your child as you look at the photos. For example, "You sure were a happy baby; God blessed you with a big smile." Or, "God gave you a wonderful imagination. Even as a toddler you loved to pretend."
