Recent Grant Awards
On April 29, 2010, the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Foundation granted more than $21,009 in Foundation earnings to the follow people and purposes:
Tuition Support for Seminarians totaling $5,850 went to the following seminarians who are or have been part of the Bethlehem community: Mark Peterson, Gena Koebert, Jo Bauman Johnson, Betsey Hoium, Holly Johnson, Amanda Maleska, Mike Rusert.
Staff Enrichment: $2,605 to support Pastor Beth Warpmaeker’s trip to Israel with other young adults from the congregation.
Bethlehem Programs: $2,940 to participate in sponsoring a young adult group traveling to for mission purposes to Israel and Palestine.
Bethlehem Programs : $7,000 to help fund the Youth Mission trip to India.
Bethlehem Programs: $2,643 as partial contribution to the three-year Thrivent Financial Charitable Giving Grant that amounts to $100,000.
Total of Grants Awarded: $21,038
