Grant Guidelines and Directions

The Bethlehem Lutheran Church Foundation Kids' Choice Fund invites young people from the congregation to prepare and submit grant proposals to support service projects, up to $1000, in keeping with the mission of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Foundation.  Proposals will be reviewed and accepted by the Kids' Choice Youth in Philanthropy board on a quarterly basis.

What are the upcoming grant application deadlines?

Grant application deadlines are each year on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, or October 1st to be included for consideration at the regularly scheduled Bethlehem Foundation meetings.  All applications must be received at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Who can apply for funding?

More than one youth, supported by an adult supervisor, in association with Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

What projects qualify for grant consideration?

• Projects planned, written, and carried out by more than one youth and supported by an adult supervisor in association with Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
• Projects that address Bethlehem Lutheran programs.

• Projects that address outreach in keeping with Bethlehem's mission.

How do youth prepare a grant application?
