Confirmation students are encourage to participate in the Healthy Relationship Retreat this April. Different from last Spring's Boys and Girls Overnights, this retreat will have all boys and girls together for the majority of the time. The retreat is designed to allow students to talk openly about sexuality, relationships, and cultural influences and pressures. We want this retreat to be a safe place where students can understand sexuality in the context of their faith and relationship with God. Small group leaders and Peer Mentors will be attending alongside Katy and Mandy.
To all those who participated in the 30 Hour Famine this past weekend, a big THANK YOU is in order!
This amount will feed and provide basic care for 204 children for one month.
Bethlehem is a member congregation of Green Lake Lutheran Ministries, and our kids attend camp at Shores of St. Andrew and Green Lake Bible Camps, near New London and Spicer, MN, about two hours from the Twin Cities.
This year, we encourage you to choose between two weeks:
Click here...to learn about the different camping opportunities for various ages, then register directly with Green Lake at www.gllm.org. Choose “member” rates. Scholarships are available; contact Bethlehem.
Family camp options are also available, including Hope Abounds family camp for children with special needs.
Hi! My name is Katy Ajer and I am excited to join Bethlehem as the new Jr. High Ministry Associate. I'll be working with 7th and 8th graders this year during Sunday mornings and retreats and will use this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself. I enjoy singing and dancing (though not very good at either), eating mint chocolate chip ice cream, watching Dr. Who, and hiking as much as possible. I love new places and have lived in Michigan, California, New Mexico, India, and Scotland as well as beautiful Minnesota.
This Sunday, you will notice something different - Sermon Note forms. Be sure to look closely! Questions have been tweeked and design gives you more room to write your thoughts and doodle your prayers. You can either download the forms at home or pick up copies outside the church offices before going to worship.
Remember, each junior high student has to complete 20 Sermon Notes by October 31 of their 9th grade year
