Celebrating the Life and Ministry of Rev. Maynard Iverson

Saturday, July 10, 10:30 am

On July 10, Bethlehem will gather as a community to celebrate the life and ministry of Rev. Maynard Iverson who faithfully served this congregation as pastor from 1951 to 1983 and continued to minister to many long after he retired from the office. Even as we grieve this great loss, we do not forget the hope of the resurrection which is ours through Christ Jesus and was the core of Pastor Iverson's strong faith. His ordination into the Ministry of the Word and Sacrament was a tremendous gift to the greater church and he will be missed.

Just Like US: Lessons from Elijah

Sometimes we fall into the habit of thinking that people in the Bible are like superheroes; giants in the faith who have figured everything out. But pay attention to their stories carefully and you'll discover that in many ways they are just like us: ordinary people who encounter the extraordinary God.

Join us for worship as we give God thanks and praise for all that God has done and is doing. This week: Dealing with Burnout

Congratulations and AHOY!

It's a tradition at Bethlehem! In June graduating seniors set sail around the Apostle Islands. They spend a few days reflecting on the last four years and setting their sights on “life-after-the-diploma.” They learn the finer points of sailing, while discussing the finer points of life and faith.
