Mom's/Women's Ministry

We invite you to join us in our mission to connect Bethlehem women with God, each other, and their mission in the world, through religious study, mission work, and learning, social and cultural events.

Mom's Ministry

"Mom". There are very few words in the English language that are as powerful and meaningful as "Mom". Join with other moms in growing and supporting one another through prayer, fellowship, the study of God's word and service to others. Together we come to know the power of Christ to change us and make us new so that we can be God's face to our families, communities and the world.

We offer:

  • Weekly large group meetings: Fridays from 9:30-11:00 am (generally in Langemo Lounge). Our weekly focus is on spiritual reflection, book or Bible study, fellowship and refreshments. Childcare is provided. Come when you can!
  • Group service opportunities: We volunteer at ZOOM House, a transitional housing mission partner, help with the Homebound Luncheon, and participate in Women's Day of Service.
  • Entertainment and learning: We host or participate in events. One example is the March 2012 production of "Seven", an inspirational documentary play about the remarkable lives and work of seven courageous and diverse women and the obstacles they have overcome in their home countries.
  • Please contact Christine Carney for more information.
