Women’s Ministries at Bethlehem

A great conversation was started on November 13 when 116 women gathered in Iverson Hall for a simple soup supper and discussion of the Women’s Ministries at Bethlehem.  It was especially exciting to see women from many generations represented.  There were two surveys to fill out and some women took copies of the surveys back to their small groups so those who were unable to attend would have input.  We have also had some terrific phone conversations and emails from those who couldn’t attend as well as some additional thoughts from those who were there. 

We are putting the survey results together and will share that in a Beacon article.  Beryl Deskin commented that it was a very Lutheran thing to do – to have a reformation of the women’s ministries!  So keep those thoughts and comments coming our way.  Ask your family, friends, and neighbors about exceptional women’s ministries and let us know what sounds the most interesting.  The conversation is just begun and we want the best ideas to guide us.
