I've Added a 4th Book - All Fun!
I forgot to mention my "simply fun" book - Forever in Blue: The Fourth Summer of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares.Uncovered a gem of book.

She went to Japan with him during WWII. He was anti military and wanted peace and after the war was the personal liason between the Emperor and McArthur. i was facinated with the movie and just discovered the paperback book at my daughter's last week and it so brittle it kept slivering in my hands. the book was authored by Gwen Terasaki in 1957. The movie was a result of her memoir and the detailed living in Japan during the war deprivations and as an enemy of the Japanese.Fun & light-hearted summer read
