Beth Warpmaeker, daughter of two Lutheran pastors, Rodney and Nancy Maeker, was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall, Texas, and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas. Beth received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and International Studies from Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, Texas, in 1992.  In August 1997, she received a Master of Arts degree in Islamic Studies and a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her seminary internship was spent in the Middle East at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Jerusalem and at Christmas Lutheran Church and an Interfaith Dialogue Center in Bethlehem.

Mark Warp and Beth Maeker became very good friends their senior year at seminary. Two years later they were married in Houston, Texas, combining their names to Warpmaeker.  Beth has served in Lutheran Campus Ministry at University of Minnesota and churches in Houston and Katy, Texas. She served as Associate Pastor and Campus Minister at Rice University and Texas Medical Center before being called as the Faith Formation pastor at Bethlehem in February, 2005.

Beth and Mark love spending time with their two lively sons, 4 and 11 months, who keep them very busy.
