Congregational Leadership

Are you interested in working with a team to help the leadership of God's Mission here at Bethlehem?

Property Team -Work with a team to make decisions on building upkeep and work on getting them done.

Bethlehem is in the middle of a Capital Campaign. Part of this campaign is to raise funding to make major maintenance and improvements to our wonderful building. And as we reach into our community Bethlehem will always be the hub. It is at this space that we meet and encourage one another in ministry. It is through cherishing the legacy of our ancestors that we can reach out to new people and bring them into God's family.

Stewardship Team- Work with team to find ways to keep generosity alive at Bethlehem.

When most of us think of generosity we think of giving money. That is an important part of being generous today but we can also share our time and talents. Rob Bell says "that we are generous to help save someone else from suffering and we may in the process find ourselves being saved.   From indifference. From the inertia of inaction. From taking what we have for granted."

Outreach Champion -Be the representative/liaison from Bethlehem with one or our mission partners.

Have you found your passion or are you looking to find a greater purpose? You may be involved with a community group or cause (homelessness, affordable housing, hunger, health care, education, etc). Would you like to make greater connections to this with the Bethlehem community? We have many mission partners that we need champions for.

Reaching 20,000 People in the Metro Area with the Good News of Jesus Christ by 2020- Like this Vision? Want to make it happen?

Really Big Idea

1.Technology: is becoming more and more the way we communicate information and ideas. How can Bethlehem grow in this area? How can you and your talents plug in?

2. Equipping our members to share their faith: How can Bethlehem grow in this area? How can you and your talents plug in?

3. Resourcing people in their mission in the world: How can Bethlehem grow in this area? How can you and your talents plug in?

4. New Communities: Clearly, there is not room for 20,000 new people on the corner of 41st and Lyndale. We are committed to beginning new communities, in ways much faster and less expensive than the church has done previously. How can Bethlehem grow in this area? How can you and your talents plug in?
