Prepare for communion, change altar candles and paraments as needed, clean communion ware and other brass items twice a year. Tim commitment: serve two months/yr plus one cleaning session per year.
Help to prepare handmade embroidered Baptismal cloths that are given out to the Baptism families. Supplies provided and you can work at your own pace.

Assist the pastor in serving the communion bread and wine. Bethlehem has communion services the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month for the morning services and every week for the 11:30am and 7pm services. Ministers are scheduled at the service(s) of their choice occasionally throughout the year. Training is available
This is for those of you interested in sharing your musical gifts with the congregation through small groups or solos during worship services.
Take an active part in worship services by reading the lessons. Each person has two assignments in a three month period. Ages 11 and up are welcome!
Work with a team to help plan visual depictions of the theme of the church season. Work involves creating ideas and designs, planning, assembling, display and removal of visual art. Choice of seasons: Advent/Christmas, Epiphany, Lent/Easter, Pentecost, Celebration Sunday.
Welcome people as they arrive at church each week in addition to helping with other parts of the service such as offering. You can choose the service you would like to usher at and most ushers serve 3 months per year on a rotating schedule (i.e. January, May, September).
Consider serving one or more Sundays at the Sunday evening worship. You can be involved with Set-up (45 min before the service), Connecting (Make and/or serve bars for 60), or tear down (30 min after service).
