We’re living at a time when we want to see signs of things that are good and beautiful and holy. We want to have faith to believe and trust that God is still present in the world, still at work. To we who both doubt and believe Jesus promises to be with us always, giving shape and meaning and purpose to our work, to our speech, to our welcoming and to our rest. We are made holy by the Spirit’s work.
Wednesday worship continues through the summer with Holden Evening Prayer, a well-loved, 30-minute contemplative vespers service that will include readings and a homily. Michael McDeid and members of the 7:00 pm worship ensemble will lead us in song. Set aside the time midweek to catch your breath and be nourished by God’s word and the community that gathers.
