Monroe Crossing dazzles audiences with an electrifying blend of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, original bluegrass, and even selections outside of the bluegrass genre. For nearly 20 years, this five-piece Minnesota-based ensemble has entertained audiences across the United States, Canada and Europe, playing over 100 shows a year, performing in concert halls, outdoor festivals, churches and more.

The Bethlehem Music Series is the longest-running series of its kind in the Twin Cities area. Help us celebrate our 40th season of presenting stellar music to the community. We guarantee you will be transported, enthralled, and energized as you experience the Quintessential talents of these outstanding local, national, and international musicians performing in our beautiful sanctuary.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: 
Named in honor of Bill Monroe, “The Father of Bluegrass Music,” Monroe Crossing dazzles audiences with an electrifying blend of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, original bluegrass, and even selections outside of the bluegrass genre.  Their superb musicianship and on-stage rapport have entertained audiences across the United States, Canada and Europe. For nearly 20 years, the five-piece Minnesota-based ensemble has played over 100 shows a year, performing in intimate rooms, churches, community theaters, concert halls, and outdoor festivals. Monroe Crossing was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 2007, and was selected to perform at the International Bluegrass Music Association in Nashville. The band has also appeared twice at Carnegie Hall and was the first Minnesota bluegrass band to perform in South Korea. Offering a rich and varied discography, Monroe Crossing has recorded 17 CDs to date.

  • Pre-registration is required for admission. (As always, admission is free.) Tickets for Monroe Crossing will be available starting January 31 on Eventbrite.com.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Bring proof of vaccination and a photo ID.

Other details of our events (including free childcare, free valet parking, intermission and refreshments) will still be offered but modified as needed with COVID and your safety in mind.
