A dozen years ago, award-winning photographer John Noltner set out on a 40,000-mile road trip and asked people one simple question, “What does peace mean to you?” Thousands of interviews later, he’s been sharing stories through presentations, exhibits, books, video curriculum, and social media. His new book, ‘Portraits of Peace: Searching for Hope in a Divided America,’ tells the story of the founding of ‘A Peace of My Mind’ and John’s quest to rediscover our common humanity in an increasingly polarized social landscape.
Join John and friend, Neal Hagberg, for an evening of storytelling, music, and photography. John will read select passages from the book, show photos from the road, and share a few stories.
Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Book signing after the event.
Seating is limited.
