How Individuals and Faith Communities Can Respond

Mental Health Connect, a collaborative of metro area churches, is hosting an evening of learning with speaker Michael Borowiak, MSW, LICSW, from Traverse Counseling and panel members Pastor Kurt Kalland from Mt. Olivet Lutheran, Gail Feichtinger and Elena Geiger from Bethlehem Lutheran Church Twin Cities, and DeDe Carter, MSW, LICSW, member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community and staff at The Retreat.
The focus will be on Co-Occurring Addiction and Mental Health Disorders: reducing stigma and gaining tools to assist with the challenges and opportunities of treatment across the age spectrum. Learn about resilience, recovery, hope, and realistic expectations for family members.
