I Was In Prison and You…
March 10, 10:30 am Langemo

Amy Levad is an associate professor of moral theology at the University of St. Thomas where she teaches in areas of theology and criminal justice, environmental theology, and theological ethics. Her current work explores Christian responses to mass incarceration, particularly drawing on sacramental and liturgical ethics to argue for a commitment to work for social justice and criminal justice reform. Amy will spend the hour speaking to the current state of our incarceration crisis and offer steps to respond justly in faith. She is the author of Redeeming a Prison Society and Restorative Justice.
