This year, Ramadan, the 30-day fast observed by Muslims, begins May 5 and continues through June 4. There are multiple opportunities for non-Muslim guests to attend an Iftar evening meal that breaks the fast at sundown, thanks to Taking Heart, a program of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota and the Minnesota Council of Churches.

Here’s an invitation: attend an Iftar with one of our pastors (or on your own), then connect with people from Bethlehem to talk about what you’ve learned.
