Front Steps of Minnesota Capitol

This Sunday at 12pm noon, Bethlehem is co-hosting a prayerful action on the steps of the state capitol. At the request of families at Annunciation Church and School, almost 600 MN faith leaders have signed a letter urging our legislators to ban assault weapons. Many of these faith leaders will hand deliver that letter to Gov. Walz and members of the legislature the morning of Oct 8, which begins seven days of prayer and action at the capitol. 

Local congregations (both clergy and members like you) will take turns hosting a brief service of word and prayer each day at 12pm noon. It’s a beautiful thing, when your neighbors tell you exactly what they need to feel loved and supported in their grief. If you’ve been looking for a way to show up for the families at Annunciation and have availability at 12pm on Sunday, join Pastor Meta on the steps at the Capitol.
