Take Time for Mental Health: Coping with Anxiety and Depressing Times

September 16 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Life can feel overwhelming in uncertain times—but you’re not alone. Join us for an evening with Melissa Conway, LICSW, Senior Director of Clinical Education and Case Management at Minnesota Mental Health Clinics, and one of the Mental Health Committee’s most-loved speakers.
Melissa offers practical, easy-to-apply tools and activities to help you care for yourself and strengthen resilience. Together, we’ll explore ways to manage anxiety, navigate challenges, and find hope in difficult seasons.
Come for the helpful strategies—stay for the engaging conversation, supportive community, and new ideas to carry with you.
Hosted by collaborating congregations Bethlehem Lutheran Church Twin Cities and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community, Take Time for Mental Health is a monthly series that aims to increase awareness and reduce the stigma of mental illness.
This year the theme is Building Hope and Healing in Uncertain Times. The series begins in September 2025 and ends in May 2026. The meetings are the third Tuesday of each month, and meetings alternate between Bethlehem and SJA.
Meetings begin at 6:00 pm with a light supper provided. Program begins at 6:30 pm and ends at 8:00 pm. This event is free to attend, a free-will offering will be accepted for supper. Please register in advance.
