Mental Health First Aid Training

August 23 @ 9:00 am 2:30 pm

Mental Health Connect now offers both ADULT and YOUTH Mental Health First Aid Training! Spots are limited, so register today.

ADULT Mental Health First Aid: Aug 16

YOUTH Mental Health First Aid: Aug 23

YOUTH Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is a skills-based training that teaches parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and any other adult how to identify, understand and respond to an adolescent (ages 12-18) who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. This course will teach you to see signs of mental health struggles and prepare you to have a conversation with youth who you see struggling.

Both sessions will be blended courses: some material will need to be completed online prior to the in-person training.

Registration fee $30, which includes snacks and a light lunch. Scholarships are available: please email Rev. Hannah Campbell-Gustafson at [email protected].

If you have dietary restrictions, please email Rachel, [email protected].
