All Congregation Worship & Congregational Meeting

On Sunday, August 2, we will gather as one congregation for worship at 9:30 am at the Minneapolis campus, followed by a congregational meeting.

This morning invites us to worship together and participate in the shared work of our congregation. In worship, we will be reminded again that we are one church, gathered by the Spirit and sent for the sake of the world. After worship, we will turn to the shared work of congregational life and leadership.
At this congregational meeting, we will receive and adopt a spending plan for the year ahead, as recommended by the Generosity Committee and the Church Council. We will hear from the Reconciling in Christ Core Team and vote on adopting a new Welcoming Statement, also recommended by the Church Council. We will receive updates on the Building the Future Capital Campaign, elect new Council members, and elect a new President-Elect.
This gathering is one of the ways we practice being church together: worshiping, discerning, deciding, and trusting that God is continuing to make us Alive Together: A New Creation in Christ.
We are grateful for the many leaders, committees, staff, and members who have helped bring this work to this moment. We hope you will make plans to join us on August 2 as we worship together, give thanks, and take up the next faithful steps in Bethlehem’s life.
