Founded in 1932 by musicians and educators from the University of Minnesota, the Bach Society of Minnesota was one of the first in North America to take the legacy of Johann Sebastian Bach as an exclusive starting point by featuring the timeless music of the great composer and those he inspired.

CONCERT BEGINS — 4:00 PM

This concert will be presented as part of the Minnesota Bach Festival and will include works by Bach and Vivaldi for chamber orchestra and an entirely female cast of singers, as originally intended.

This concert will be livestreamed on the Bethlehem Music Series YouTube channel.

About Bethlehem Music Series:

Now in it's 42nd year, the Bethlehem Music Series continues the tradition of exciting and eclectic musical programming with high-quality local, national and international artists that is free and open to the public. The Bethlehem Music Series is the longest-running series of its kind in the Twin Cities area.

Prior to each concert, the artists offer insights into their performance and music, answering questions from the audience. These pre-concert conversations are unique to the Bethlehem Music Series and moderated by Steve Staruch of Minnesota Public Radio.
