Day of Service Prep Events
Day of Service Prep Events
October 23 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Volunteers are welcome—and needed! No special experience is required. Come lend a hand, meet others, and be part of a project that will make a difference far beyond our community. Put our hands to work for a meaningful cause.
MTKA – Friday, Oct 23, 10:00 am: Gather with us to begin cutting fabric and preparing materials to make bags that will hold hospice and newborn kits. These kits provide important supplies to healthcare programs through Global Health Ministries and serve people in need around the world.
Optional: If you have scissors, please bring them.
MPLS – Wednesday, Oct 28, 5:00-8:00 pm: We send diapers in our Day of Service newborn kits. At this meeting we’ll be making diapers from t-shirts. Men’s size L or bigger work best. T-shirts should be white or light-colored (writing on the shirt is fine) and at least 50% cotton so they’re absorbent.
Optional: If you have scissors, please bring them.
