First Communion Training (MPLS)

At Bethlehem, kids of all ages are always welcome at the communion table. While the invitation is always open, we offer a special milestone class for first graders and older students to explore this sacrament together. Whether your child already receives communion or is ready to start, this class will deepen their understanding.
Families will learn together in our First Communion training at the Minneapolis about this special meal. Choose the schedule that works best for you, or participate from home via an independent study online Google Classroom.
Fall Class Option:
Sunday, October 11, 11:30 am—1:00 pm
Spring Class Option:
Sunday, March 14, 11:30 am—1:00 pm
Online Option:
Use our Google Classroom to study independently at home.
Kids will receive their First Communion during worship at the Minneapolis campus on one of these dates—simply select the option that best fits your family’s schedule.
First Communion Sunday Options:
Sunday, October 18, 9:00 am or 10:30 am
Maundy Thursday, March 25, 7:00 pm
Sunday, April 4, 9:00 am or 10:30 am
