It is important for you to be fit enough to get in and out of a kayak or canoe, but the actual kayaking is not difficult.

Meet at Spirit Garage (100 W. 46th St., Minneapolis) and then carpool to Taylors Falls, with the hopes of getting on the water around 2:00 pm.

Contact Peter Wemeier who will coordinate rides and help coordinate kayaks/canoes, and so on. There are boats available for rent: $37/single kayak, $52 double kayak or canoe. Additionally, everyone will need to pay $20 for the shuttle ride. We have access to some boats of our own, mostly through Peter.

If you want to go on this adventure but aren’t sure you can pay for it, talk to us and we’ll work this out with funds from the church and/or a seat in one of the extra boats available.
