Second Harvest Heartland Food Packing Event

Please join the Bethlehem Outreach Committee at Second Harvest Heartland. Volunteers will assist with sorting, labeling, weighing and packing various food items to meet immediate needs and help feed our hungry neighbors. Please register to claim your spot!
Step 1
If you do not have a Second Harvest Heartland Account: Visit https://volunteer.2harvest.org/user/login/ and click on the “Haven’t Signed Up Yet? Click Here” button to create your volunteer profile and sign the online waiver.
If you do have a Second Harvest Heartland Account or have just created one: Please log in to your account: https://volunteer.2harvest.org/user/login/
Step 2
Once signed into your account, Navigate to the correct session via Volunteer Central on June 5 @ 3:30 pm and sign up.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the shift start time to check in at the kiosk and store your personal belongings.
Please review our dress code information below:
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- Shirts should cover the shoulders and armpits (no tank tops).
- All clothing should be appropriate for handling food and not have loose, dangling beads or other articles which can be a physical contaminant.
- Comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty is preferred
- We suggest you dress in layers to remain comfortable while working as temperature can fluctuate.
- No jewelry. When you are in the packing areas, you will be asked to remove all jewelry. Lockers are available on-site to store belongings.
