Transgender and Christian: An Evening of Storytelling

Join TransMission Ministry Collective at Spirit Garage for an evening of storytelling celebrating the experiences of transgender and gender-expansive Christians! From childhood in the church to theological discovery as an adult – from experiences of rejection to celebrations of unconditional love—come to find out how our gender-expansive siblings are embodying a life-giving faith that can be transformative for everyone. Tickets to this event include hors d’oeuvres and access to the silent auction (virtual tickets available for live stream). All proceeds will go to Transmission Ministry Collective (TMC), an online community dedicated to the spiritual care, faith formation, and leadership potential of transgender and gender-expansive Christians. Event will be led by Austen Hartke, founder and executive director of TMC, and author of Transforming: The Bible and the Lives of Transgender Christians.
