Caregiver’s Support Group
Caregiver’s Support Group

July 23 @ 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Caretaking is hard work. The days can be endless. One can feel weary from constantly meeting someone else’s needs, no matter how much you love them. Your own health can suffer and the isolation can be deafening. Finding support and caring for yourself are crucial but difficult as you focus on your loved one’s needs before your own.
Does this sound familiar? Are you a caretaker longing for someone to just share your feelings with or to help you find resources? We can help!
If you are caring for a loved one, be it a family member or friend, and you would like a group to surround you with support, a listening ear or resources, join Diane Waarvik (Director of Health & Wellness) and Heidi Peterson (MTKA Faith Community Nurse) for a Caregiver’s Support Group.
(In the future, this group may also offer a Zoom option for those who have difficulty leaving their loved one unattended.)
