Open Streets Lyndale is a family friendly event on Sunday June 7th from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Lyndale Ave. will be closed to motorized traffic from 22nd street past Bethlehem to 42nd street (9am-6pm). This will allow the street to be filled with people biking, roller blading, walking, exploring, and connecting with their community. Local businesses, artists, and community groups will transform the street into public art, dance, music performances, pop-up shops & foods, games, activities, and more, showcasing the diversity, creativity, and culture of Minneapolis.

Bethlehem will have a petting zoo (compete with llama), live music performers, and 3 great food trucks – Hotbox (hotdogs & mini donuts), Hawaiian Sno (luscious, shaved ice), MN Nice Cream. Spirit Garage will have free cotton candy, Mental Health Connect will have games and prizes, Care Ministries will have give-a-ways, Healing Touch will offer calming sessions. We will also have ice water for people & pets, Washburn Robotics, and other great activities just along our boulevard. Imagine what the other 19 blocks will offer!
