As we now lean into summer after emerging from a very weary season in our city and world, and have recently named out loud in worship that many of us are tired (perhaps even bone-tired and soul-weary), what better time to dive deep into what sabbath means for our whole lives?
Come let’s explore together… What is sabbath rest? What does the Bible have to say about it? What does it mean for us now to keep it holy? How do we live fully into God’s gift for us for our whole lives?
Indeed God intended sabbath as a gift—holy, sacred rest and freedom—for you and for me (not just for pastors on sabbatical), and for all of creation! Come join us for some holy work together!
