SALT: Lake Minnetonka Cruise

Beautiful fall colors emerge in October, and where is a better place to appreciate them than on a boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka? We’ll leave the Minneapolis campus at 10:00 am on a chartered bus; then cruise the lake for 90 minutes and enjoy lunch at Maynard’s on Lake Minnetonka. Cost of $35.00 per person covers bus transportation and cruise; lunch on your own.

Beautiful fall colors emerge in October, and where is a better place to appreciate them than on a boat cruise on Lake Minnetonka?
On October 9, SALT will sponsor that cruise. We will cruise past century-old cabins alongside modern mansions, and savor the clean, crisp air and the beautiful colors of fall. We leave from the Port of Excelsior and set out at 11:30 am for our narrated 90-minute trip. When we return to the dock, we will board the bus to have lunch at nearby Maynards. Lunch is on your own, and if you need to know more about its food choices, check their website for the menu.
For this trip, we will supply a bus. Be in the Bethlehem Minneapolis parking lot by 10:00 am to be sure to be on time. Help will be available for people needing assistance in boarding the boat with walkers and wheelchairs. The cost for the boat and bus is $35. You can sign up for this trip online through Realm (credit cards are accepted on Realm) or by calling the church. Also, look for the SALT members sitting at sign-up tables on Sunday mornings. Sign up early! We are limited to 30.
