Care Minister Training: Training for members who want to become part of the pastoral care team.
The ministry of congregational care is the heart of the church and is carefully designed to help all of us get through challenging times. Congregational Care Ministers are key volunteers who work alongside their pastors and staff to help provide Christlike care for the church family.
A Care Minister is a lay person who reaches out with compassion and is available to listen, pray and support individuals and families through visits, phone calls and conversations. Care Minister relationships can vary in time from one or two conversations to longer term visits.
