Faith IRL: Bread Baking

Lent Youth

About This Event

Faith IRL is a series of adventures for middle schoolers that connect biblical themes to stuff we do in real life. In March, let’s bake bread and make lunch together! We’ll hear some of the stories in the Bible about bread and wonder about what it means when Jesus says he is the “bread of life” and that God provides our “daily bread”. Register in advance and contact Pastor Meta or Pastor Holly for more details.

Date:

March 18, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Age:

7th-8th Grade

Event Information:

Join Pastors Holly Johnson and Meta Herrick Carlson for monthly in-person events that build connections between our faith in God and the stuff we like to do “In Real Life.” These events are geared toward middle school students and the schedule is shaped by students. Students from all campuses are welcome.

Bread engages all the senses: especially when baking, broken, and shared. Let’s bake bread and make lunch together! We’ll hear some of the stories in the Bible about bread and wonder about what it means when Jesus says he is the “bread of life” and that God provides our “daily bread”.
