Led by Pastor Meta, this class meets monthly, reviewing the basic tenets of faith and the themes we hope to pass on to the next generation. The twist? Participants also learn how to ask questions and listen deeply to loved ones who do not attend worship or participate in a faith community.

This class meets monthly, reviewing the basic tenets of faith and the themes we hope to pass on to the next generation. The twist? Participants also learn how to ask questions and listen deeply to loved ones who do not attend worship or participate in a faith community.
Faithful Conversations is asking elders to have a different kind of conversation with a young person in their life, rooted in curiosity for the ways they experience spirituality and themes like community, forgiveness, justice, generosity, and more. Participants practice what they learn with a loved one, a conversational homework assignment each month. “I think this is some of the most important work we can do as elders and churchgoers, for the sake of our personal relationships and the work of the church,” says Pastor Meta.
Registration is required. The class meets monthly on the first Thursday in person at the Minnetonka campus.
