Summer Knitting Parties

On Reformation Sunday, October 30, our Confirmation students will affirm their faith at the Minneapolis campus. They will participate in Faith Walk and receive a cross, hear the words of the Holy Spirit stirring in their hearts, and then here is where, YOU, the knitter comes in. The Children, Youth, and Family Team are looking for people to knit a red scarf for each student. Parents will place a scarf around their shoulders marking the moment, and the scarf is a practical gift from their church family that goes with them on their way.
Pastor Heather is committed to knitting 2 scarves. (50-60 inches long) All knitted or crocheted red scarves are welcomed.
Scarves are needed by October 1 to ensure that we have enough.
You can knit (or crochet) red scarves in your spare time or Join Pastor Heather on Sunday July 24th 11:30 am-12:30 pm and/or August 28th 11:30 am-12:30pm for a knitting party. Bring a sandwich or snack, your red yarn and knitting needles.
