Event Information:

From the time we are very young we know that putting a band-aid on a cut and brushing one’s teeth twice a day helps to take care of our physical health. What we are not taught is how to take care of our emotional health so that we can weather emotional pain like failure, loss, or loneliness according to Dr. Guy Winch, a psychologist, and author. Poor emotional health takes its toll physically and can actually shorten one’s life expectancy and results in a poor quality of life.

Join members of Bethlehem’s Mental Health and Addiction Ministries team in viewing a short, dynamic video featuring Dr. Winch, followed by small group discussions on Sunday, November 13 at either the Minnetonka campus (10:45 – 11:30 am) or the Minneapolis campus (11:45 a.m. – 12:30 pm)  Take home five effective and practical strategies you can use right away to promote your own wellness through emotional first aid. Light refreshments will be provided.
